I am a registered Bowen Therapist with 20 years Naturopathy experience. My journey into holistic health started in 1984 when my partner and I established a holistic health clinic in North Queensland. The clinic provided various holistic modalities including Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Swedish and Therapeutic Massage. During my work at this clinic I continued to further my study in the areas of Natural Therapy and other fields of health science including Lab technic, herbal medicine and Natural Therapy. I worked cooperatively with other health practitioners and medical specialists to optimise my clients’ state of health.
In 2009 I discovered Bowen Therapy and was amazed by how effective it was for a range of conditions in particular in relieving pain and creating balance in the body. I came to understand that Bowen Therapy in conjunction with Natural Therapy and Acupuncture, facilitated the healing process even further.
At my clinic at Kenmore, I aim to provide a holistic health centre where everyone feels respected, trusted, cared for and understood. I like to guide people towards a healthy lifestyle and will refer clients to other health practitioners when necessary. I really see my clients as active participants in the pursuit of lasting wellness, and value their contribution towards building a better health service.
